You can easily transform flat pieces of glass into beautiful jewelry, picture frames, bowls, plates or other decorative pieces using a kiln to melt, or fuse, the glass together. You can expect to finish several projects. Beginners and experienced folks are both welcome. Class is three sessions. Closed toed shoes required.

Sun Catchers

Glass glistening in the sunlight is the goal of this class. You get to create something special for a window or  a light fixture. You will learn how to cut glass and arrange pieces to create a suns, birds, flowers or your own ideas. Whatever your imagination can imagine. No experience necessary. Two stunning sun catchers will be made. Seasonal. Closed toed shoes required.

Combo Fusing

Combo Fusing: Torch components combined with other precious metals, lusters, mica, dichroic and other items to create a truly gorgeous one of a kind art glass piece. Raking to manipulate hot glass. Class is three sessions. Winter months only. Closed toed shoes and cotton clothing required.

Glass Fusing for Quilt Makers Workshop

Convert your favorite quilt squares into glass plates or wall art. Beginners and experienced folks are both welcome. You will learn the basic principles of glass cutting and fusing in this one-day workshop as you design and prepare glass pieces for fusing.  Class is three sessions. Closed toed shoes required.

Torch Work for
Fusers

Mon 1am-4pm
Wed 6pm-9pm

Learn how to pull stringers, twists, dots and more. Create spirals and other free form elements. A simple Murini will also be attempted. No torch experience required. Wear cotton clothes and closed toed shoes. You must be 18 to participate. Closed toed shoes and cotton clothing required.
